Maurice Brown joined the HCC faculty in August 2009 with over 30 years of extensive experience working as a business consultant and adjunct college professor. During his consulting years, he supervised a team at Homeland Security, Office for Domestic Preparedness; he also served as Chief Administrator & Director at Cecil Community College, in addition to lecturing in the classroom. Before joining CCC he worked at Howard University as Deputy Director of the SBDC Program and held lectures on his factor topic "ethics."Contact:Phone:
Maurice's greatest professional accomplishment was the establishment of the Harford County Revolving Loan Fund, serving on the Harford County Economic Development Advisory Board and contributing to the economic growth of our county. Z

Miriam Huddleston joined the HCC faculty in August 2004 as an Adjunct Accounting Instructor. In August 2011 she began as a full time instructor at HCC. She has over 8 yearsâ€™ experience in the business world to include time spent as an Auditor at Deloitte and Touche LLP, a Research Assistant at the UNT Center for Marketing and Logistics and in varying levels of customer service and Human Resources at MBNA America. Presently Professor Huddleston teaches courses as part of the Business Management and Accounting degree / certificate programs. These courses are offered in online, hybrid and face-to-face formats.

Ryker Hughes has worked at Harford Community College for 36 years. He began his career in the Continuing Education Division developing and implementing training for nursing, business and industry in Harford County. In 1995, he transferred to the credit side of the college, assuming the position of Chair of Business, Computing and Technology.Contact:Phone:
During his tenure as chair, Ryker became involved with international education, helping create a partnership with Moscow Medical College in 1996 to develop and implement a nursing continuing education system that integrated the nurse as a key member of the health care team. The partnership continues to this day.
He now focuses on teaching the Introduction and Management courses of the division.

Chris Jones has been a faculty member in the Educational and Transitional Studies Division since 2006. He has instructed a wide variety of mathematics courses at Harford, including pre-algebra, algebra, trigonometry, statistics (both general and honors), finite mathematics, calculus, discrete mathematics, and scientific engineering and computation. Jones has given presentations on methods of student engagement, assessment, and retention at the state and local levels. In 2011, Jones received the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development Excellence Award. In 2013, Jones was one of two Harford recipients of the John and Suanne Roueche Leadership Award.Contact:Phone:

Professor Lewis grew up in Fallston and is a lifelong resident of Harford County. She began teaching part-time in the Business, Computing, and Applied Technology Division at Harford Community College in 2008. Professor Lewis assumed a full-time position in the Division in 2013. Prior to her career at Harford Community College, Professor Lewis was an executive director for a local nonprofit organization as well as holding positions in accounting, management and human resources with state government and private organizations.
