This course will prepare the student to gather and do preliminary analytics on data sampled from a larger data set. The student will review the statistical elements to analyze data, the "rules" behind determining if the data is valid, and finally using the knowledge gained from the course to analyze real world data from probably the largest data repositories in the United States. The student is not required to know statistics or math, since the course is not statistics focused as much as it is understanding the logic behind data gathering and analysis. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply.
