Dancers should wear movable workout dance clothing Shoes: Ballet Shoes, Jazz Shoes, Tap Shoes and Contemporary may be bare feet or Ballet shoes.
Learn how to wiggle your hips and arms in ways you never thought possible! Have fun while gaining flexibility and strength. Award-winning Belly Dancer Amartia will teach you the basics of belly dance from the shimmy to the hip drop. No previous dance experience required. Just a fun attitude and a willingness to learn. Please wear comfortable form-fitting clothing so that your movements can be seen. Hip scarves are optional. Bare feet, socks or dance shoes please; no sneakers.
Learn the basic discipline of Pilates. Topics include proper breathing techniques, reaching deep muscles for strengthening and toning, and achieving correct body postures. Dress comfortably; bring a mat, blanket, or large towel.
From the romantic Rumba to the sassy Salsa learn the basics of four Latin dances. You’ll sample Bachata, Rumba, Salsa and Cha Cha in this course designed for the novice dancers. Think you can’t dance? Let us prove you wrong. Focus on quality of movement over quantity of moves. Partners encouraged but not required. Leather bottom shoes are recommended.

Class begins with a warm up, gradually becoming more aerobic, then ending with relaxation/meditation. No prior yoga or dance experience is required. Bring an open heart, willingness to have fun and a yoga mat.
If you've already taken Introduction to Pilates and are looking for the next step, this class is for you. Previous Pilates experience is highly recommended. This class will allow you to experience deeper core work. Wear comfortable, movable clothing.
Designed to help you appreciate four styles of Swing Dancing, you will learn the basics of Single, Triple and West Coast Swing and Zydeco.
