Fly Casting Techniques: Advanced
Want to advance your fly casting techniques? Fundamental mechanics will be quickly reviewed as you gain techniques to increase your casting distance and develop better line control. Advanced casts will be taught such as aerial mends, double and single haul, single-handed spey, and many others. Learn ways to successfully fish in windy, tree-infested, or fast current areas, as well as placid, wide open-lakes. Instructor is Federation of Fly Fishers certified. Class is limited to 10 students, 14 years and older. Prerequisite: Fly Fishing Techniques or permission of instructor.

For both the beginner and experienced fly fisher, this covers fundamental mechanics and principles, progressing through advanced techniques. Learn about equipment selection, knots, fly selection, tying, and proper casts for any given situation. The basic cast, roll cast, reach cast, shooting line, single and double hauls, line control and more will be presented. The instructor is certified by the Federation of Fly Fishers and is a trained instructor from the Wulff School of Fly Fishing. Learn these mechanics and techniques that will reduce your frustration on the stream.
