Topics include whole number concepts, fractions, decimals and percents, ratios, proportion, and signed numbers. Parents are welcome to stay. There will be assignments to be completed at home. For students enrolled in Geometry in the fall. Review arithmetic and elementary algebra in preparation for Geometry. Topics include mathematics fundamentals and an introduction to angles, triangles, plane figures, and solid figures. Parents are welcome to stay. Some assignments may need to be completed at home.
Is your child ready and willing to read? Join us for a fun-filled reading adventure for children who already recognize the upper and lower case letters of the alphabet. Reading skills will be taught through song, sight, and phonic recognition. Techniques and ideas will be provided for practice at home. Class size is limited so register early.
