Fitness Center Assistant

(Part-time, Hired As-needed)
Starting Hourly Rate Range:  $9.82 - $11.29

The Fitness Center Assistant provides front-desk coverage and customer service in the College's Fitness Center during Open Recreation hours.  Duties include, but are not limited to, monitoring Fitness Center access; enforcing policies and rules of etiquette; assisting with equipment sanitation; providing clerical support; alerting Fitness Center staff of any equipment safety or maintenance issues; and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

The work schedule is between four and nine hours per week, scheduled Monday to Thursday, 12:30 - 2:30 p.m., and one to two Saturdays per month from 8 a.m. to noon.  Start date is August 26, 2013.

REQUIREMENTS: A high school diploma or GED and CPR/AED certification are required.  Applicants must be proficient in a Windows-based computer environment, including knowledge of MS Office.  Preference will be given to applicants with customer service experience.
