RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Lead Testing Assistant provides secure exam delivery for GED, certification, and licensure tests for the Continuing Education and Training (CET) area and delivers front-line customer service for the CET Test Center. 

Duties include, but are not limited to, coordinating testing activities; scheduling and training part-time staff; tracking budgets; ensuring compliance with test administration procedures, including student identification and test security; and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.  The Lead Testing Assistant must complete and pass required certification exams and recertify annually. 

Work schedule is up to 20 hours per week, with varying hours scheduled between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.  Regular availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays is required.  The work schedule will be determined by the supervisor. 
 

REQUIREMENTS:

An associate's degree and a minimum of one year of related customer service experience is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.  Applicants must be proficient in a Windows-based computer environment, including MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and have excellent customer service and communication skills.  Experience administering standardized tests is preferred.

The successful candidate must complete and pass an open-book Pearson Vue Test Administrator certification test within the first two weeks of employment.
