Transcript Evaluator

Starting salary range:
$36,366 - $43,385

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Transcript Evaluator evaluates transfer coursework, both traditional and non-traditional, and works with students, advisors, deans, and other campus personnel regarding HCC transfer policies and procedures. 

Duties include, but are not limited to receiving, verifying, reviewing, and researching submitted college transcripts, high school transcripts, exams, and other relevant documentation; entering accepted transfer work into the Banner system; notifying students of status of evaluations; clearly communicating HCC transfer credit policies, procedures and acceptability to students, advisors and HCC personnel; processing nursing program admission applications; assisting with graduation degree audits; verifying and approving or denying honors and academic renewal applications and requests; and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

This is an exempt, professional staff position. 
 

REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree and three to five years experience in a college student services environment are required; experience with review and evaluation of transcripts is preferred.  Applicants must have demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; customer service experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and be proficient in a Windows-based computer environment with intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel and Access; and experience with an ERP, preferably Banner.
