RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Marketing Support Specialist I engages students via Facebook and other social media channels; updates and maintains Web pages and the Student Activities presence on the College's Web portal OwlNet; designs, edits and submits content for the Owl magazine; photographs and videos programs to support marketing and outreach efforts; collaborates with the College's Marketing Department on developing Student Activities support materials; and completes other special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
 

 REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

An associate's degree, preferably in Graphic Design, and two years related marketing experience, including experience with social media outlets, are required.  Applicants must be proficient in various graphics software programs, including the Adobe Creative Suite, on both Mac and Windows platforms and have knowledge of the printing /reproduction process; have knowledge of Web page development and maintenance; and have the ability to manage multiple projects.  Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. 

Photography, videography, and/or e-mail marketing experience and a bachelor's degree are preferred.
