ABOUT HARFORD Harford Community College is a Division I member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference.  The College's intercollegiate athletics program is dedicated to the continued development of skill and sportsmanship in all students through a focus on academic and personal success of our student athletes.  Many students continue their athletic careers as valued players on four-year college and university teams.  The intercollegiate athletics program includes 14 teams for men and women students and a full support staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The assistant coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in recruiting student athletes; organizing and conducting practices; and performing other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.  Assistance and awareness of the academic success of student-athletes is a priority for all coaches.

Coaching and/or playing experience is required.  A bachelorís degree is preferred; equivalent coaching and playing experience at the college level may be considered. 

Preference will be given to candidates familiar with NJCAA and Maryland JUCO guidelines and policies.  CPR/First Aid and AED Certification strongly encouraged.
