Starting Hourly Rate Range:  $11.20 - $12.88

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Enrollment Services Assistant - Admissions provides customer service in-person and by phone at the College's Welcome Center; answers the College's main phone line and directs calls, and provides administrative and clerical support to the Admissions Office. 

Work schedule afternoon and evenings, up to 20 hours per week, to be scheduled weekdays between the hours of noon and 7:00 p.m.  Final schedule to be determined by the supervisor. 

REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma or GED and three years of customer service and/or administrative support experience are required.  Applicants must be proficient in a Windows-based computer environment and be skilled in using MS Office programs, internet, fax, and phone; have excellent communication skills; and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

Any offer of employment at Harford Community College is contingent upon the results of a mandatory background screening.  Employees must submit within 30 days of hire official transcripts of all degrees earned.
