RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Application Developer develops and delivers efficient, technology-based solutions to the campus, provides quality customer service and technical support to all users, and provides programming support for the implementation of systems and software products.  

Duties include, but are not limited to, completing complex, cross-departmental projects involving multiple platforms; design, developing, integrating and deploying web-based applications; and performing server-based programming, including ASP, ASP.Net, and PHP.

This is an exempt, professional staff position. 
 

REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field and three to five years of experience designing and developing computer applications are required.  Applicants must have knowledge of programming languages including .net, C#, ASP, SQL, and JavaScript; and knowledge of server-side programming. Equivalent education, experience, and/or technical training may be considered.

Experience developing for .Net based CMS, web portals, and ODBC connected databases; training in database management systems, systems analysis, and data communications; knowledge of multiple operating systems, additional programming languages, MS-SQL and/or Oracle databases and data tools, Visual Studio, and other productivity tools preferred.
