Studio Aide - Photography
(Part-time)

Hourly rate range: $9.82 - $11.29

RESPONSIBILITIES: The studio aide will assist in the College's photography studio with duties including, but not limited to class set-up; studio and equipment maintenance; preparation of photographic chemicals; and supplies stocking and inventory.

Work schedule is up to 20 hours per week; schedule will vary according to studio class schedule requirements; some evening hours may be required.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED required; associate of arts degree in photography or a related field preferred.  Candidates must have experience with photographic materials and processes in black and white, color, and alternative process photo chemistry, including film development and wet darkroom printmaking; experience using digital cameras and output equipment; knowledge of studio lighting equipment and techniques; good written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
