ABOUT HC: Harford Community College continues to serve its community by providing  Adult Basic Education (ABE), GEDŽ Preparation, and English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, as well as college and career preparation.  The Bel Air, MD, campus is convenient to Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Wilmington. 
RESPONSIBILITIES, REQUIREMENTS, AND APPLICATION INFORMATION

Instructional Aide
Assists instructors in a classroom setting.  Requires high school diploma or GED and one year of related experience, including experience working with diverse populations, to include disadvantaged adults, non-native speakers of English, and/or at-risk youth.  Associate's degree or certificate preferred.  Adult education, tutoring, or teaching experience preferred.

    Adult Education Advisor
    Assists prospective and active students in the College's adult development and literacy education programs to assess their instructional needs and choose appropriate classes.  Associate's degree or certificate and one year of related experience are required, including experience working with diverse populations, to include disadvantaged adults, non-native speakers of English, and/or at-risk youth.  Bachelor's degree and academic advising, counseling, adult education, or teaching experience preferred.
