Hourly Rate:  $42.78per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

HCC is seeking experienced nurses in the areas of medical/surgical, pediatrics, maternal/newborn, mental health, and fundamentals of nursing. 

For fundamentals, hourly clinical nursing faculty will work with students use the nursing process to contribute to a plan of care to meet the basic health and wellness needs of adult clients. Care settings include assisted living, long term care and acute care.

In medical-surgical nursing, work with students to use the nursing process to meet the health needs of the client in an acute care setting.

Pediatric clinical teaching includes days, evenings and/ or weekends at a Baltimore pediatric unit.

Maternal/newborn clinical hours needed include day, evening and weekend hours. 
 

REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor of nursing (BSN) degree and two years of clinical experience as a registered nurse are required; MSN preferred. Candidates must be licensed as a registered nurse in Maryland.

Any offer of employment at Harford Community College is contingent upon the results of a mandatory background screening.  Employees must submit within 30 days of hire official transcripts of all degrees earned.
