High school diploma or
GED, excellent computer and interpersonal skills required; some
college or trade school preferred.
Candidates must have one to three years experience in a radio
station or similar environment, and at least one year of
experience working with and/or supervising volunteers and/or
students. Flexible schedule is a must.
Candidates must be familiar
with FCC rules and regulations as they pertain to non-commercial
radio; must be able to read, interpret, and follow a programming
log; monitor a broadcasting transmitter and make
adjustments as necessary; operate a radio control board and
related equipment, and have some experience with AudioVault, PSI-Net or
similar radio automation software.
