Starting Salary Range:  $44,245 - $55,306

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Registrar manages, coordinates and performs graduation audit processes; provides support for commencement; implements, builds, and maintains the automated degree system; supervises part-time, front-line staff; oversees academic appeals; and provides input to the Registrar on proposed policy and departmental changes.  Duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing graduation audits and printing diplomas; review refund/change in residency requests; managing the input of grade changes; resolving conflicts related to registration and records; and performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

This is a exempt, professional staff position. 
 

 REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

A master's degree and three or more years of related experience are required; equivalent education, technical training, and/or experience may be considered.  Applicants should have experience supervising, scheduling, training and evaluating staff, experience with graduation degree audits and related computer systems, Banner preferred; and experience resolving issues and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the office.  The position requires proficiency in a Windows-based  computer environment; and the ability to respond to stressful situation with high levels and tact and positive communication.
