Harford Community College is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach on-campus, online, and/or hybrid classes.  Compensation for adjunct instructors is $855.67 per lecture credit hour; $641.75 per lab credit hour.  Hourly clinical nursing instructors are compensated at $41.96 per hour.

The College is currently seeking instructors for five-week Student Development courses in which instructors meet with students individually to support student success and career planning.  Compensation for these courses is $125 per student, and instructors may choose the number of students they teach per session based on their schedules.  These courses include:

  • Success in College
  • Personalized Career Exploration
     

    REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree and one year of college-level teaching experience are required, preferably in the community college setting.  For clinical nursing faculty, BSN and two years of clinical experience as a registered nurse are required; MSN preferred.  Clinical nursing faculty must be currently licensed as a registered nurse in Maryland.

    Any offer of employment at Harford Community College is contingent upon the results of a mandatory background screening.  Employees must submit within 30 days of hire official transcripts of all degrees earned.
