RESPONSIBILITIES:

The faculty member is primarily responsible for teaching a variety of business management and administration courses, as well as introductory accounting. 

In addition, faculty members are expected to stay current in their disciplines and in teaching methodologies; implement changes in instruction based on assessment results; maintain reasonable, distributed office hours; develop and revise curriculum; mentor adjunct faculty; work collaboratively with supervisor, full-time faculty, and staff; participate in a variety of college committees and task forces; and advise students as appropriate.  Faculty members are also expected to demonstrate leadership skills in teaching, discipline activities and college service, as well as participate in community service. 

This 10-month, tenure-track position is scheduled to begin August 2014.
 

 REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

A master's degree in business management/administration or a related field and three years of college-level teaching experience are required.  Applicants must have experience in teaching business management/administration courses; course and program development and assessments; emerging instructional delivery methods, including online and hybrid; and advising students.  Experience teaching introductory accounting; mentoring adjunct faculty; organizing and implementing outreach activities; and experience in grant development preferred.

Candidates will be asked to validate full-time or part-time teaching experience.
