Group iPlan Sessions

Group iPlan Sessions are designed for new students seeking a degree or certificate who do not choose the Self-Paced iPlan option.  Students who choose the Group iPlan option will complete the entire registration process during this three hour session.

During the Group iPlan Session, students will have the opportunity to:

  •  Take (or retake) the academic skills assessment in math, English, and reading.  If you are exempt from assessment testing in English and/or mathematics based on SAT scores of 550 or above in one or both areas, please forward a copy of your scores to the Test Center located in Fallston Hall before your Group iPlan Session. Test Center telephone number: 443-412-2352.

  • Obtain the HCC Student ID Card required to register for classes.

  • Receive information on academic programs, extracurricular activities, athletics and support services.

  • Meet with an academic advisor; financial aid specialist; and register for summer/fall 2013 classes.

Students should wait until they receive their letter of acceptance before scheduling a Group iPlan Session.  Once an acceptance letter has been received, students should call the Admissions Office, at 443-412-2109 to schedule a Group iPlan Session.

All Group iPlan Sessions are held in the HCC Student Center, and are designed for students only.  Parents are encouraged to attend a College Parent 101 session.

A limited number of seats are available for each session. Call 443-412-2109 to make your reservation today!
