Dining Services Worker
As-needed for Arena Events - Will Train
(Part-time, Multiple Openings)

Hourly Rate Range:  $10.35 - $11.90

Be part of the action!  HCC is seeking as-needed workers to support dining services and concessions for events held at the APG FCU Arena at Harford Community College.  Duties include set-up/prep, customer service, cashiering, and clean-up. 

The work schedule varies based on events scheduling, and may include day, evening, and weekend hours, not to exceed 9 hours per week.  The supervisor will determine the exact work schedule.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED is required; one year of previous food service experience is preferred, but will train for entry-level.  Candidates must be able to multi-task; follow written and verbal directions in English; have flexibility in scheduling; and adhere to all health department and sanitation regulations and procedures.  This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and to stand for extended periods of time. 

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license.

The hours of part-time, as-needed employees are limited to a total of less than 500 hours in each fiscal year (July 1 June 30).

Any offer of employment at Harford Community College is contingent upon the results of a mandatory background screening.  Employees must submit within 30 days of hire official transcripts of all degrees earned.
