OwlMail SkyDrive - Frequently Asked Questions

New Information on SkyDriveNew

SkyDrive is part of the Windows Live Services. After our migration to Microsoft Office 365 for our email system, SkyDrive is now a separate service along with other online services, which was all part of Microsoft Live@Edu.

Only current students have access to SkyDrive by default. If you want to create an account, you may go to http://www.skydrive.live.com

SkyDrive is now a personal service that is totally separated from Office 365. This means that you as a user have full control of your SkyDrive including password management.

After the migration, by default, the password is the same as your HCC network password.

However, since this now a separate service, if your HCC password changes, your SkyDrive password does not change automatically. HCC Help Desk cannot help you with future password reset and retrieval for SkyDrive. For your protection, if you have not done yet, complete your profile information with Windows Live (SkyDrive) so that you can retrieve information when necessary, especially when you need to retrieve a forgotten password.
